Meet Leigh Ojeda LCSW

Leigh Ojeda is a distinguished clinical social worker with a wealth of experience in the field of mental health. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University (2000) and a Master's degree in Social Work from Barry University (2002), Leigh has been a licensed clinical social worker since 2005. Additionally, she is a Qualified Supervisor in the State of Florida and maintains licensure in both Florida and New Jersey.

Leigh's commitment to professional growth is reflected in her ongoing pursuit of certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is also well-trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). As a mentor, Leigh supervises Master's level clinicians seeking licensure, guiding them through the process with her vast knowledge and expertise.

Having dedicated 18 years of her career to hospice work, Leigh has provided invaluable counseling and support to terminally ill clients and their families. This extensive experience informs her approach in her private practice based in Davie, Florida. Leigh's areas of focus include trauma, chronic illness, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and various life stressors.
